in January, Samsung is set to fully unveil its new ultra-slim smartphone at a Virtual Unpacked event on May 12, at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.
The Virtual Unpacked event is expected to reveal more details about the S25 Edge, including its release date, price, and specifications. The event will be streamed online on Samsung’s YouTube channel and website.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which already includes the Galaxy S25,
Galaxy S25+
, and
Galaxy S25 Ultra
.

If you’re interested in buying the Galaxy S25 Edge when it launches, you can reserve the phone now on Samsung’s website and receive a $50 Samsung credit to use towards it.
There have already been plenty of leaks about the phone, suggesting it could be just 5.8mm thick, feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, pack a 3,900mAh battery, and be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (via GSMArena), the same chipset found in the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has two rear cameras. Samsung has already revealed that the phone will have a 200-megapixel main lens despite its slim form factor. The other camera is rumored to be a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
